Global Talent Pathway One-Stop Global Recruitment Solution
Finding the right people shouldn’t be limited by borders. At Global Talent Pathway we make international hiring feel as straightforward as hiring local staff. Every candidate in our system is put through a multi-layered screening process designed to eliminate risk before they ever reach your shortlist.
About Global Talent Pathway
Global Talent Pathway (GTP) is a SaaS platform designed to connect international employers and certified recruitment agencies with skilled talent from South Africa. Through a fully digital application and visa-tracking ecosystem, GTP simplifies cross-border employment and ensures transparency for all stakeholders.
We are responsible for designing a dual-dashboard system — one for GTP administrators and another for international job applicants. The Admin dashboard offers complete monitoring, analytics, compliance management, and operational control over agencies and candidates. The Candidate dashboard functions as a personal portal for job search, visa status tracking, document management, and communication.
This project required balancing multi-role user experiences, optimizing data visualization, and ensuring clarity in a complex workflow involving jobs, agencies, candidates, and international visa approvals.
The Problem
The international hiring and visa process involves multiple stakeholders and complex workflows. Before GTP, these challenges existed:
Lack of Transparency:
Candidates were often left in the dark about their visa status or progress, leading to frustration and mistrust.
Fragmented Communication:
Agencies, employers, and administrators relied on scattered emails, spreadsheets, WhatsApp messages, and manual tracking — causing delays and miscommunication.
Compliance Risks:
Paper-based document collection made it difficult to verify authenticity, track expiry dates, or ensure proper regulatory requirements were met.
Inefficient Agency Oversight:
GTP had minimal visibility into agency performance:
- How many jobs posted?
- Visa approval success rate?
- Number of approved candidates?
There was no centralized system to monitor business health or identify problems quickly.
Heavy Reporting Workload:
Data had to be manually compiled for reports, slowing down decision-making and scaling operations.
The Solution
To address these challenges, GTP is transforming the operational model with a centralized, role-based platform:
A clear step-by-step process with progress visualization removes confusion and anxiety.
Candidates upload passports, certificates, medical reports — with alerts for missing or expired items.
Browse openings from trusted agencies and complete applications seamlessly.
Built-in communication ensures candidates receive timely updates.
Candidates become informed, confident, and in control of their migration journey.
Track efficiency, compliance rates, and hiring outcomes across all partner agencies.
Detect bottlenecks early with a centralized view of every application stage.
Fraud detection flags duplicate or suspicious documents automatically.
Real-time KPI dashboards improve decision-making and organizational control.
GTP gains the oversight needed to maintain high ethical and operational standards.
Design Process
Designing the Global Talent Pathway (GTP) Admin & Candidate Dashboards required balancing data-driven decision-making with a human-centered approach.
The goal was to create a seamless experience for both administrative teams managing global talent operations and candidates navigating complex visa applications.
To achieve this, I followed a 6-phase design process, combining strategic UX thinking with iterative validation.

Impact Metrics & UX Improvements
Even before launch, usability evaluations and pilot feedback showed clear efficiency and satisfaction improvements.
| Metric | Before (Manual Process) | After GTP Dashboard |
|---|---|---|
| Job posting approval time | 2–3 days | < 1 hour |
| Candidate onboarding completion rate | 45% | 85% |
| Visa process tracking clarity (surveyed users) | 40% satisfied | 92% satisfied |
| Document submission errors | 30% of cases | < 5% |
| Reporting time for Admin | 3–4 hours manual collation | Instant (dashboard) |

Results & Outcomes
The redesigned Global Talent Pathway (GTP) dashboard ecosystem delivered significant improvements across user experience, operational efficiency, and overall platform engagement. By introducing a streamlined, data-driven interface for both administrators and candidates, the system transformed what was once a complex, manual workflow into a cohesive digital experience that promotes clarity, trust, and productivity.
Overall, the redesigned GTP ecosystem not only optimized workflows but also redefined how international recruitment and visa processing data are visualized and managed. By combining strong information architecture with a human-centered design approach, the system now serves as a foundation for scalable digital transformation, helping GTP expand confidently into new markets while maintaining operational excellence.
